Lumina Mota
Susanne is still working on the development of the non-static version of Lumina Mota..
Hope to show the result soon!
Movement is everywhere around us.
Movement is a reaction on something else.
Just take a look at our Floral Kingdom.
There are flowers that have the ability to move in reaction to sunlight.
Sunrise and sunset can make a flower open and close itself.
The position of the sun can make a flower bud rotate towards the sun, so the heart of the flower is always focused on its light.
When a flower wants to protect herself and her seeds against bad weather, she just lets her head hang.
This magical sight that repeats itself every day is so obvious to us, that we no longer notice it.
I visualized this process in a floor lamp called Lumina Mota.
Lumina Mota has the ability to open itself.
While she opens, the luminance of the light changes with her and becomes more and more bright.
When she closes herself, the light extinguishes with her.
